Ok Guys. Here is my first official post. Marly pointed out that I am the only one who can post. Therefore, I will try to post everyday and all of you can comment on it. If you have something important to ask everyone to comment on, either I can post it for you, or you can make it clear in your comment that you need an answer/opinion by putting it in italics.
So, my first question is that we should start thinking about an order to the plays. There was talk about putting them into Sandwich A and Sandwich B and then flip-flopping the order on the second night. What does everyone think?
Also, Directors - get your props information into Rob or Ms. Houston pronto.
Melanie - When can you come to rehearsal to meet with directors or actors.
Lauren will be doing an attendance sheet in 6th period tomorrow, so make sure she knows if there are any changes to your casts.

Marly and I spoke with Ms. V this afternoon and agreed that the run time would be around or less than 90 minutes with intermission and that we could probably do the whole thing both nights. How does that strike everybody?

I agree Ian that sounds like it would work. In terms of order, someone (cant remember who) had mentioned that we should try to do a serious play next to a funny play or every other one if possible. Like do Lauren's then Evan's then mine then Ian's then Marly's then Andrew's. The second night we could do the exact opposite order. This would sort of throw the audience into an emotional Yo-Yo ish type thing while still maintaining a switching of order on the second day, What are your thoughts on this?
I think that i am hungry and that i can go for a sandwich, an A or a B...
Michael, your comment was pointless. (Houston don't delete that, it's out of love.) I think flip flopping the order is smart, but that all six should all be included as one big play that shouldn't be more than two hours. I think trying to ticket separately is a bad idea.
In other news, I had a much more productive rehearsal today with getting people to stay and work (somewhat, when they weren't distracted by pictures of birds in the gallery...). I still have a serious issue with how late everyone is. It cuts into the A rehearsal bigtime. Hopefully people show for the meeting tomorrow.
Have a good night everyone!
Perhaps there is a way to get people here on time. When I went through the Student Center, there were three cast members still up there, so I shooed them along. Make sure one of you is upstairs shooing people. The EH thing you can't really help at all, except to make people think ahead about when they are needed for an A rehearsal.
Also, Mike, give us a real thought next time - Marly is right. Your opinion is valuable and you should have a stake in the decision making, since it is really your work going out there in front of the world.
I like the idea of running it all at once. The order doesn't matter but it might be easier for the cast if we are going to run it all at once to keep the same order. Also, I believe that Mike is taking entirely too much slack for his comment. He makes a valid point, both of those sandwiches sound delish and I'm gonna go get one.
P.S. I like the layout of the blog. Very new aged 70's.
IM blogging
nice
so uhh anyone need a member for the cast? i don't think i am doing tennis anymore... so um yeah im great with voice changes and a great dancer (marly) haha
